چکیده

This paper proposes a wavelet-tree-based watermarking method using distance vector of binary cluster for copyright protection. In the proposed method, wavelet trees are classified into two clusters using the distance vector to denote binary watermark bits. The two smallest wavelet coefficients in a wavelet tree are used to reduce distortion of a watermarked image. The distance vector, which is obtained from the two smallest coefficients of a wavelet tree, is quantized to decrease image distortion. The trees are classified into two clusters so that they exhibit a sufficiently large statistical difference based on the distance vector, which difference is then used for subsequent watermark extraction. We compare the statistical difference and the distance vector of a wavelet tree to decide which watermark bit is embedded in the embedding process. The experimental results show that the watermarked image looks visually identical to the original and the watermark can be effectively extracted upon image processing attacks. 2009 Elsevier Ltd. A Digital Watermarking Method Using Binary Cluster

In this paper, we propose a wavelet-tree-based watermarking method for copyright protection by using distance vector of binary cluster. Wavelet trees are classified into two clusters using the distance vector, which is obtained from the two smallest coefficients of a wavelet tree, to denote binary watermark bits. The trees are classified into two clusters so that they exhibit a sufficiently lar...

A Robust Blind Image Watermarking Method Using Local Maximum Amplitude Wavelet Coefficient Quantization

In this paper, an innovative blind watermarking algorithm has been proposed for imagery applications. This algorithm has used the coefficients of the discrete wavelet transform of the host image in the form of super trees to embed the predefined binary watermark in the host image. In this scheme, a pseudo random sequence is generated to determine the exact wavelet super trees used for embedding...

Second-Order Statistical Texture Representation of Asphalt Pavement Distress Images Based on Local Binary Pattern in Spatial and Wavelet Domain

Assessment of pavement distresses is one of the important parts of pavement management systems to adopt the most effective road maintenance strategy. In the last decade, extensive studies have been done to develop automated systems for pavement distress processing based on machine vision techniques. One of the most important structural components of computer vision is the feature extraction met...

Efficient Image Watermarking Using Filtered DWT-Blocks for Quantization of Significant Differences

In the paper, a robust blind watermarking method is introduced for gray-scale images based on wavelet tree quantization with an adaptive threshold in the extraction. Every block of 2× 2 coefficients of High-Low subbands of the Wavelet tranform are grouped in a block through the parent-child relationship of the wavelet tree. Every scrambled binary watermark bit is embedded into each block based ...

A Novel Blind Watermarking Using Hybrid Embedding Technique

This paper proposes a blind watermarking method which utilizes the Euclidean distance between adjacent coefficients in wavelet trees to improve robustness, and lower distortion. To decrease the probability of being detected or deleted, different combinations of significant or insignificant coefficients are proposed. We embed the watermark in either two significant or two insignificant coefficie...
